OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Outreach Ministries
Serving people for Christ.
At Emilie United Methodist Church, outreach is faith expressed through practical service. We walk alongside neighbors facing hard times, provide vital necessities, and extend welcoming care with open hearts.
Scripture Calling
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
Everyday Outreach
Faith lives in hands-on compassion. Through everyday connections, thoughtful support, and consistent local care, we meet people right where they are with the love of Christ.
VOLUNTEER-RUN MINISTRY
Emilie Thrift Shop
The Emilie Thrift Shop provides affordable clothing, household basics, and essential everyday items for our local community. Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, every purchase supports our outreach programs and neighborhood care initiatives.

ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE
Blessing Box
Our Blessing Box is available 24/7, 365 days a year for neighbors experiencing food insecurity or homelessness. It is stocked with non-perishable food items, toiletries, and personal hygiene essentials. Visitors may take whatever they need, whenever they need it, with no questions asked.
The congregation and caring neighbors help keep the shelves full throughout the week. Contributions of canned protein, dry goods, soap, dental supplies, and seasonal essentials are always welcome.
Generous Spirit
“Freely you have received; freely give.”
— Matthew 10:8 (NIV)
